What these limits mean when you're moving around
- 90 days in any 180 days
- On any day, look back over the last 180 days: you can have spent at most 90 of them in the Schengen Area. All 29 Schengen states count together as one area.
How days are counted. Visa365 counts any part of a day as a full day, so the day you travel counts for both countries. That way it never counts fewer days than you actually spent somewhere. Official rules can count differently, so check the sources below.
Tracking Schengen Area with Visa365
For the most common stay limit here, you'd add the Schengen 90/180 limit. In the app's entry rules for the Schengen Area, pick your passport and one tap fills in the limit that applies to you. Visa365 shows your days left and leave-by date, and alerts you at the days-left counts you choose. It logs your days there automatically in the background, even offline.
Work out your own dates with the Schengen 90/180 calculator, and see what Europe's Entry/Exit System records. More in our guides: how to track the days you spend in each country and the 183-day rule for digital nomads.
